My journey in the art world began in 2013 with fine art, art advisory and Old Masters. Every artwork, I learned, carries a provenance and a web of legal and commercial considerations. Questions of authenticity, ownership and value led me to law and an LLM in Business Law from the University of Mumbai, while teaching management sharpened my understanding of markets and institutions.
The field is multidisciplinary, yet its legal, commercial and institutional dimensions are rarely studied as one. TAKSH was founded to bridge that divide. Beginning with Art Management, it unites Art Law, Authentication and Provenance, Curation, Conservation and the Art Market within a practice-led curriculum.
As Founder, I lead its academic direction, pairing intellectual depth with rigorous professional preparation. The vision is to build a trusted institution at the intersection of art, law, business and culture — one where learners come to understand not only art, but the systems that shape its world.
